Dairyland Healthcare Solutions is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Founded in 1980, Dairyland has grown from a regional systems provider to a nationwide provider of comprehensive information systems for community hospitals and healthcare systems. “I am immensely proud of the company Dairyland has become, the dedicated employees that got us here and the customers that have made it all possible”, said Steve Klick, Dairyland’s Founder.

In 1980 Dairyland started with a single product offering for hospitals, since then the products and services have expanded to provide solutions for all departments within hospitals, clinics, long term care facilities and home health care agencies. “The breadth of our product and services, as well as the depth of their functionality have grown substantially over the last twenty five years, I believe a testament to our success and our ability to continue to meet the needs of the market is that the first hospital that purchased our system is still a customer”, said Alan Grundei, Dairyland’s CEO & President.

Over the past twenty five years those at Dairyland have seen a lot of changes in the healthcare industry and technology. “When we started the focus was on financial applications, now it is on clinical applications for physicians and nurses for creating electronic medical records and improving patient care and safety”, said Alan Grundei, “As the industry continues to transform itself, we look forward to the another twenty five years and the next innovations in healthcare IT, such as nationwide system interoperability and accessible electronic health records.”
